Meet our Team & Suppliers

Gareth Crosby

Hands on Sleeves Rolled Up.
Gareth, heads up the Pedler kitchen and thrives on matching his daily changing menus with the season. Sourcing the finest produce, whenever possible from the British Isles. Gareth, having worked at a plethora of restaurants from the oldest in London, Rules; to new comers such as Licky Chops and the Barrio Group, brings with him abundant passion, skill and experience.

Pru Clarke

Our go-to girl!
Pru can be found in the restaurant, smiling and ready to help you make Pedler your new neighborhood retreat. ‘Open’, delightful to work with and confident, Pru comes from a ‘hands on’ restaurant operations background, meaning she is highly experienced, inspiring and has bags of get up and go.

Shauni van der Horst

Good at being brilliant!
Shauni is a strong leader with a real belief in delivering highest standards possible. Kicking off her career in Amsterdam before hot-footing it to the Caribbean island of Curacao, we’ve been assured it wasn’t all sunshine and cocktails but rather the ideal opportunity to gain some valuable work experience! A true perfectionist who leads by example; Shauni’s heart is in hospitality and her love of Pedler and Peckham is clear for all to see.

Valley Smoke House

Supply our bacon, smoked salmon and other smoked meats. Former Chef Jonathan Newberry now smokes food for top restaurants.  Johnathan started smoking food when he worked as a 22 year-old chef at Gravetye Manor at East Grinstead in West Sussex.  Twenty five years ago he packed away his whites and set up a smokehouse on a small farm outside Bristol.  Today he smokes for many of the country's top restaurants.

Flock & Herd

We work with Flock & Herd in Peckham Rye to create our own secret recipe for our ‘Little Bird Gin’ sausages. Working with a small team of dedicated butchers, whose aim is to provide the very best possible quality and range of produce enabling them to provide their customers with the best in taste, service and experience.

The Bread Factory

Breads are from The Bread Factory, who make bread as it was, hundreds of years ago. With responsibly sourced ingredients, time to let the good flavours develop and made without fuss.

Essex Flour & Grain

Dry goods come from an independent family run, catering food and drinks provider.

Balsamic vinegars, olive oil and olives are from The Olive Oil Mill. Set up by Danilo Manco, originally from Puglia (south Italy). Set up in 2001 in London's Borough Market, his authentic and beautifully crafted vinegars, oil’s and olives proved to be so popular that he soon found himself supplying restaurants across the country.

A wine company that champions up and coming producers that are all about genuine quality. No stone is left unturned in Alliance’s search for the very best in cutting edge wines from boutique, emerging, creative and quality conscious producers. Alliance are never mainstream, never boring, and they always have something new. We love their wines and the enthusiasm that they bring with them every time they walk through the door.

Karma Kola

A selection of soft drinks come from Karma Kola. Fairtrade, organic, ethical and tastes like heaven - Karma Cola, Gingerella Ginger Ale and Lemmy Lemonade.

Fever Tree

Our mixers and soda water are Fever Tree. Since launching, Fever Tree have launched a new product every year - each taking a similarly intrepid attitude to sourcing quality botanicals. The result is seven delicious drinks to mix or enjoy on their own.

Little Bird Gin

After much taste testing, feedback, fun and frivolity, Team Little Bird Gin and friends hit upon the recipe for a new, small batch London Dry Gin. Grapefruit, orange peel and ginger contribute to Little Bird Gin’s smooth citrusy taste, which is lovingly distilled in very small batches by a Master Distiller.

Serious Pig

Based in a railway arch in Peckham, our neighbours have become one of the leading producers of top quality British charcuterie - makers of premium products derived from the humble pig.

The Butchers Block

We love working with The Butchers Block for their rare breeds, heritage and free range meats. Their plentiful supply of game, Chef G’s favourite, keeps us coming back for more.

The Bottle Shop

Passionate about beer? So are this lot! Hunting down the finest beers has become second nature to The Bottle Shop. Their mantra is simple; they only buy amazing beer that they passionately believe people will love. We’re more than a little bit in love with The Bottle Shop and their array of stunning, crafted delights!

Murrays Fresh Fish

Providing Pedler with awesome fresh fish and shellfish direct from the coast is what floats our boat about this family company. Richard Murray started Murray’s Fresh Fish in London from a fish stall in Battersea where he sold the best of the catch from the South coast at weekends and started to supply top restaurants with large line caught seabass. The excitement of supplying these restaurants and the buzz of sourcing the fish made him eager to explore that channel more, the challenge being to maintain that quality with a wide variety of fish. That was and still is the mission of the business.

Keats Community Organics

Keats Community Organics is an Organically Certified urban farm in South London, offers the local community easy access to ultra local organic vegetables and space to grow their own, as well as workshops, courses, apprenticeships and horticultural therapy. At Pedler we use them as much as we can for everything from flowers to gorgeous, organic fruit and vegetables.

Joe Belson

As an experienced Bar Manager, Joe is here to ensure that all is ship shape and ready to roll. A serial foodie with a penchant for the odd Little Bird barrel aged negroni to keep him going.
